We are in the process of getting a new car as well (new to us at any rate). It is a '03 Jetta. We were not looking to get a car right away, but the guy was asking for good deal under the blue book value. When the VW dealership said the car passed their inspection we put some money down. He should signe the title over to us sometime this week, and we will pay him the rest. You can see when you come to visit.
